Yesterday, someone asked me this question," Why people born in the year of rat are falling sick easily this year?" Is this destined? Or it just happened to be coincident?
The only thought that came into my mind was fang tai sui. It is believed that when a person fang tai sui, that year tend to be "difficult". Which means a lot of obstacles ahead, so falling sick could be one of those obstacles? Maybe someone can share with me his thoughts?

if a person bazi unfavourable elements are earth and water, this is indeed a challenging year, perhaps this explains the term 'fan tai sui'.
if the converse is truth, this person need not worry about 'fan tai sui'.
however if the year's stem and branch clashes with a person bazi, it is a better year for him/her but care must be exercised.
nevertheless even when the year pillar is good, there will be some days where the day/hour may not be favorable.
